Count down to New Years!!

Wow can you believe this year is almost over. 9 hours and 30 minutes to be exact it will be 2009. I haven't had much time to scrap this last week but I did manage to get a page done. My girls are making flowers out of paper and it turned out amazing :0) My oldest daughter Veronica is visiting us for the holidays. The girls are so happy to get to spend some time with their big sister. Who better to teach them how to make paper flowers. What a cute moment. I love capturing these moments. I am so honored that my page was featured at Genuine Praise today!!! Another great moment to end the year off. So today I will be spending time with my girls and my honey. It is great to have a house full of family. We will be joining my mother later this evening to attend midnight mass. The whole family will be there. My baby brother and his family are in town for the holidays also. Should be a great get together. Here are some photos of my week with my family.


My little ones got to sing in the childrens chorus at church. I did not get a great shot but it was precious to me. It brought tears to my eyes I was so proud. All of the kids were so adorable. They sang Rudolf the red nose reindeer and We wish you a Merry Christmas. It was so cute. I was a proud mommy along with all of the other proud mommies.

Veronica meeting her niece Cameron for the first time. She is so great with babies. Another great moment to capture. I am so happy I was blessed with my beautiful girls.


Here is my little princess Melea. Santa brought her Cinderella dress and accessories. She was so delighted and wasted no time getting all dressed up. What a little cutie. She is such a little princess :0)

Okay now the grand finale. Guitar Hero Rock Band!!! My girls had so much fun. Tori was on the guitar, Veronica & Melea was on the bass, Becca on drums and I was the singer. The best chic band around..lol.. It was a blast and I enjoyed this time with my girls very much. All year long we are on the go but this time of the year is totally devoted to my family. It is truly my favorite time of the year. Have a safe and Happy New Years every one. See you next year :0)

Yay its Friday!!

Okay this week has been crazy!! I'm still not done Christmas shopping. I finally got the girls shopping done but still have to get the rest of the family done. Good news my layout that I made of my honeys grandma was picked for layout of the week at nuts4digi . I am so excited!! I made this page using Lost Kit and Glitter and Glass Kit by Southern Creek available at Isyndra and Friends . I was so happy to stumble upon this photo. I just love the heritage look to it and it was the natural color of the photo that grabbed my attention. The kit and photo just matched perfectly. My honeys family loves the way it turned out too :0)

We finally got the girls photo done with Santa Claus. They were so excited waiting in line. There was a whole Santa's work shop with Santa's little helpers working very hard on toys. Then as you get closer to Santa we walked into a little room where the children can watch Christmas cartoons. Finally it was the girls turn with Santa. Tori asked Santa for a cell phone and Melea asked him for a new bike. They were both very excited to get to tell Santa what was on their Christmas list. It's a good thing Santa has allot of little helpers to help get these pricey items ;0) Here is a couple pages I made with the girls photo visiting Santa.

We had snow in Texas. Can you believe it. It has not snowed in over 4 years. It was not much snow but it was enough to make the girls happy for a day and me too ;0) I capture as much of the moment I could. So as you can see I have been very busy this week and could use a vacation. But the girls are out of school for their winter break and that is most likely not going to happen .. lol Okay I have to get back to getting the house clean and finishing up my left over Christmas list of things to do. Christmas Party

I had an amazing time at VIA Groups Christmas party. My honey Andrew's work party was a big hit. It was held at the Woodlands Waterway Marriot. Absolutely gorgeous hotel. We had a very nice dinner at the Ristorante Tuscany. The night continued with great company and dancing the night away.It was so romantic dancing to Salsa and a great varity of music. I even learned how to Jitter Bug. That was so much fun!

Here is Andrew and Myself as we arrived to the party. I spent most of the day getting my hair done and it was well worth it. It turned out so nice. Look how handsome my honey looks too;) The hotel was decorated so beautifully with Christmas trees all over inside and out. The Marriot was full of people with many different parties going at the same time.


Awww this is our niece Cameron in her little santa outfit. Her very first Christmas party. She is just so adorable.David Jr. , Rebbeca, Cameron and Andrew. My honeys big brother and sister.

This was the after party .We decided go across the street to a bar called Bakers Street. Such a beautiful Bar. The decor was great and so fun. It had hidden passage ways behind book shelves to get to the ladies room. Everyone had such an amazing time. I cant wait to see what next year will bring. Thanks Via for a great party!!!

My "Love" page was featured at Genuine Praise

My "Love" page was featured today at Genuine Praise . I am so excited that this page was picked. I love the way this page turned out. These are my special angels Veronica 16, Victoria 7 and Melea 4. They are the world to me and always my inspiration when it comes to scrapping. I started digiscrapping about six years ago to find a way to preserve memories for them. Then I became an addict :) I can print these memories and frame it for them. But I can also back the pages up on a disk for them and that is very important for me. When I was growing up in Wonju City , South Korea our family had a horrible fire that wiped out most of the family photos. My mother does not have a single photo of when she was a child and that is very sad for her. So it is very important for me to do this for my girls to make sure that doesn't ever happen. I am glad that my page was as special to someone else as it is to me. Thank you for featuring my precious memories.
